Each Merci Box Car had 40 hand painted Coat of Arms or Shields representing regions of France on the sides of the Box Car. New Hampshire's Box Car has 20 Coat of Arms visible on one side from the window. There are also 15 Coat of Arms on the other side visible only if you are in the Box Car Building.

The Left side of the car can be viewed from the street. There are 20 Coat of Arms with ouside pics shown. They are Alsace, Anjou, Artois, Auvergne, Berri, Bourgogne, Campagne, Corse, Flandre, Gascogne, Guyenne, Ile-de-France, Lorraine, Lyonnais, Maine, Navarre, Normandie, Saintonge, Touraine, Vendee

On the right side of the car are 15 more Coat of Arms. They can only be seen from inside the building that houses the box car. This is opened are the ceremony. They are Angoumois, Aunis, Bearn, Bourbonnais, Bretagne, Comte de Foix, Comte de Nice, Comtat Venaissin, Dauphine, Franche Comte, Marche, Orleanais, Poitou, Provence, Roussillon
